Christmas Caroling at MediLodge of Tawas City

I have been in a facility similar to this and MediLodge of Tawas City is infinitely better! The food here is wonderful. It tastes good, it’s always warm and they offer a wide variety to choose from. The nursing staff is just as wonderful as can be. They are very attentive. They listen to me and allow me to take part in my care. The activities here couldn’t be better! There are three wonderful activities ladies. Courtney was the first person to make me feel wanted in a very long time. She took the time to talk to me and encouraged me to stay positive. There are a wide variety of activities but the ones I enjoy most are Jeopardy, Euchre and Word Games. Although my eyesight is bad, they have made accommodations so that I could take part in art and crafts. At first, I was very anxious to leave here but now I feel like I fit in. I have made friends with many of the other residents. I don’t know how the staff here does it. They are so kind, patient and as nice as can be to all of us that live here. I hope to stay here as long as possible.

I chose MediLodge of Tawas City for myself because it was close to where I live so I can have visitors. The department that stood out to me the most was the therapy department. They worked with me so that I can walk out of here and begin to feel normal again after my stroke. I would recommend MediLdoge of Tawas City for anyone looking for some rehab services.

I chose MediLodge of Tawas City due to my acute COPD distress and for strengthening. When I got here, I could hardly walk or do anything without being completely out of breath even when using my oxygen (which is 24/7). Now, I can walk over 200 feet and do all the exercises they ask me to do. Your therapy department is excellent, and everyone here has been very sweet and pleasant to be around. All of the staff is very caring and compassionate. I never had anyone be unpleasant or mean to me. I have no complaints. Everyone from housekeeping, dietary, laundry, nurses, aides, and therapy was very pleasant and always willing to help when you need it. I hope not to come back, but if I have to go somewhere, I will choose to come back to MediLodge of Tawas City again. I will recommend your center to others. I really enjoyed my stay.

I chose MediLodge of Tawas City for my therapy because I wanted to be closer to my home and family. Brandy SP therapist is a sweetheart she went above and beyond for me. Jordon was very kind and attentive to my needs. Medilodge of Tawas City is the most wonderful place I have ever been to. Everyone here has been truly a GOD sent. I chose Medilodge of Tawas City again since I was here for my first knee surgery. I had a good experience the first time, so figured I would come back after this knee surgery. The staff that most stood out to me? There are a few of them. First - Hannah CNA she is so bubbly, very thorough, knows the needs of the patients and fun to be around she can always make you smile. Chrystal RN has been very attentive and caring the whole time I was here. Kept on top of things. Then there is Stacy OT & Mike DON who was also very attentive to what I needed and immediately made changes. Hats off to you all! My overall experience was wonderful. I’m glad that my meds were always on time and my call light was answered very quickly. I will and have referred a couple of my friends to your center.

“I chose Medilodge of Tawas City for myself. My friend Mike is the D.O.N. there. I chose this center because it was close to where I live, and was a shorter distance for my wife to travel to see me. There are a few departments that stood out to me. First, there is nursing: Kendra and Leeann, the main two nurses that took care of me, both did a great job, were always polite, courteous, and very caring. Stephanie and April (CENAs from first shift) are both very caring people who take their job seriously and are polite as well. They always made sure I was comfortable, asking if I needed anything. Upper management came by on daily rounds, making sure everything was going well, asking how the prior evening went. The center has an excellent therapy department. Greg, Stacy, Emily, Lana kudos to you! You all show your passion for what you do. Shower aides Amber and Hannah also do a great job. Thank you for all you do. My overall stay was excellent.”

I am far away in Florida and have worried about her in the past, but now that she is with you I am relieved. She seems very happy and that makes me smile.
