On 4/14/22, our Resident Advocate/Admission Coordinator, Ida Chester, delivered “appreciation baskets filled with chocolates and chips”. She delivered them to our local hospital, EMS call center, Sherriff’s office, ACC of Oscoda nursing students, Oscoda VA clinic, City Hall of Tawas City & Huron Family Medicine. I chose Medilodge of Tawas City for my dad, Dixie Caudill, for a respite stay while I spent some time downstate. I can always count on Medilodge of Tawas City to allow me to bring dad in when I need to. Ida, Admissions & Marketing Director works very well with myself and our hospice agency. I can let them know a few days ahead of time that I would like to bring dad there, Medildoge is right on it willing to do whatever it takes to get him in. I can always count on Medilodge of Tawas City to take care of my dad, you all do good work. I know my dad is safe while I’m gone. I will always use Medilodge of Tawas City for our respite stays.

"The therapy was really good. It was the best I've had. It helped 100%. You all kept after me to do what I needed to get better."
I chose MediLodge of Tawas City for my therapy because I wanted to be closer to my home and family. Brandy SP therapist is a sweetheart she went above and beyond for me. Jordon was very kind and attentive to my needs. Medilodge of Tawas City is the most wonderful place I have ever been to. Everyone here has been truly a GOD sent. I will recommend your center to my friends and family. Thank you for all you have done for me.
I have been in a facility similar to this and MediLodge of Tawas City is infinitely better! The food here is wonderful. It tastes good, it’s always warm and they offer a wide variety to choose from. The nursing staff is just as wonderful as can be. They are very attentive. They listen to me and allow me to take part in my care. The activities here couldn’t be better! There are three wonderful activities ladies. Courtney was the first person to make me feel wanted in a very long time. She took the time to talk to me and encouraged me to stay positive. There are a wide variety of activities but the ones I enjoy most are Jeopardy, Euchre and Word Games. Although my eyesight is bad, they have made accommodations so that I could take part in art and crafts. At first, I was very anxious to leave here but now I feel like I fit in. I have made friends with many of the other residents. I don’t know how the staff here does it. They are so kind, patient and as nice as can be to all of us that live here. I hope to stay here as long as possible.

"I'd like to spend the rest of my life here. They treat me right and I've gotten stronger."
The reason my mother and girlfriend chose Medilodge of Tawas City for my therapy is because it’s close to where I live and heard good things about the facility. I was lost and messed up in a bad way. Your staff should be really proud of themselves! The staff here are gentle, considerate, compassionate & loving. I saw it daily throughout my stay. You (Ida) came by to see me daily to check on me, other people did this too. I felt loved here! You can do anything with GREAT people around. Greg from therapy is now a friend forever, he is a great guy. April (aide) always made me smile, we like to go back a fourth at each other making our day fun. She’s a good aide. Jenny and Brandy my speech therapists are awesome. You all have helped me to get the point going back home. Thank you, I will miss you all.
I chose MediLodge of Tawas City after having hip surgery. I know Ida, the marketer, who comes to the Hale Senior Center monthly to do our blood pressures. I also had a connection with Pam (therapy) since I have known her family for many years. I know they both really care. I don’t want to go home, and I would like to stay. I’ve had an overall good experience while staying here.

I chose MediLodge of Tawas City after having back surgery. My friend Nancy recommended that I choose to go here. Therapy was A #1! Pam and Tammy were both very attentive, helpful and useful. Jacob (CNA) was friendly and attentive.
I felt at home and chose to come to MediLodge of Tawas City for my therapy. When I ended my therapy, I decided to stay long term. The activities always have something going on. I love doing my restorative program with Shannon. It keeps me moving. I love all the nurses and CNAs. I really couldn't take care of myself at home before I came for therapy. So, I am very grateful for the people here.
