You know, it's a very good feeling when both times I have been to your center I came in by ambulance and I can walk out of here. I trust the staff here and your therapy department is truly amazing. I will come back if I ever need therapy again and will tell others what a great center MediLodge of Tawas City is.

I chose MediLodge of Tawas City for myself because it was close to where I live so I can have visitors. The department that stood out to me the most was the therapy department. They worked with me so that I can walk out of here and begin to feel normal again after my stroke. I would recommend MediLdoge of Tawas City for anyone looking for some rehab services.

I chose MediLodge of Tawas City after having hip surgery. My doctor suggested that I go to a skilled center. Hannah (CNA) is very helpful, funny & a joy to be around. Pam (therapy) is very friendly and explained the therapy process very well. Overall my experience was good. I learned a lot about skilled centers.

I want to thank you for the wonderful care you are taking of my mother, Melinda Taylor, who is a resident at your facility. I am far away in Florida and have worried about her in the past, but now that she is with you I am relieved. She seems very happy and that makes me smile. I have been in a facility similar to this and MediLodge of Tawas City is infinitely better! The food here is wonderful. It tastes good, it’s always warm and they offer a wide variety to choose from. The nursing staff is just as wonderful as can be. They are very attentive. They listen to me and allow me to take part in my care. The activities here couldn’t be better! There are three wonderful activities ladies. Courtney was the first person to make me feel wanted in a very long time. She took the time to talk to me and encouraged me to stay positive. There are a wide variety of activities but the ones I enjoy most are Jeopardy, Euchre and Word Games. Although my eyesight is bad, they have made accommodations so that I could take part in art and crafts. At first, I was very anxious to leave here but now I feel like I fit in. I have made friends with many of the other residents. I don’t know how the staff here does it. They are so kind, patient and as nice as can be to all of us that live here. I hope to stay here as long as possible.

I chose MediLodge of Tawas City after having hip surgery. I know Ida, the marketer, who comes to the Hale Senior Center monthly to do our blood pressures. I also had a connection with Pam (therapy) since I have known her family for many years. I know they both really care. I don’t want to go home, and I would like to stay. I’ve had an overall good experience while staying here.

I chose MediLodge of Tawas City for myself. I have heard good things out in the community about your center. Shannon (CNA) makes people feel comfortable he makes me laugh. Cheryl LPN (nurse) is always friendly and compassionate. The staff is great and very kind. My advice to everyone is to take everything one day at a time.

I chose MediLodge of Tawas City for my father, Ralph Hengehold’s therapy because of his weakness. I heard the therapy here was great and it has been. Hannah and Courtney (CNAs) were always very personal-able, caring, nice and joked around. We like the improvements that have been made at MediLodge of Tawas City, the rooms are very home like! I will recommend the center to others in need of a place to go.
