I felt at home and chose to come to MediLodge of Tawas City for my therapy. When I ended my therapy, I decided to stay long term. The activities always have something going on. I love doing my restorative program with Shannon. It keeps me moving. I love all the nurses and CNAs. I really couldn't take care of myself at home before I came for therapy. So, I am very grateful for the people here.

It was beautiful. You did a beautiful job and I tell everyone about you. I appreciate the way you worked with me in the morning and afternoon.

To all of you Nurses, Aides & Staff: I want you to know I admire and look up to each & every one of you. You are awesome, you seriously hold the greatest titles on earth...Thank you for everything you do!

I chose MediLodge of Tawas City due to my acute COPD distress and for strengthening. When I got here, I could hardly walk or do anything without being completely out of breath even when using my oxygen (which is 24/7). Now, I can walk over 200 feet and do all the exercises they ask me to do. Your therapy department is excellent, and everyone here has been very sweet and pleasant to be around. All of the staff is very caring and compassionate. I never had anyone be unpleasant or mean to me. I have no complaints. Everyone from housekeeping, dietary, laundry, nurses, aides, and therapy was very pleasant and always willing to help when you need it. I hope not to come back, but if I have to go somewhere, I will choose to come back to MediLodge of Tawas City again. I will recommend your center to others. I really enjoyed my stay.

I have been in a facility similar to this and MediLodge of Tawas City is infinitely better! The food here is wonderful. It tastes good, it’s always warm and they offer a wide variety to choose from. The nursing staff is just as wonderful as can be. They are very attentive. They listen to me and allow me to take part in my care. The activities here couldn’t be better! There are three wonderful activities ladies. Courtney was the first person to make me feel wanted in a very long time. She took the time to talk to me and encouraged me to stay positive. There are a wide variety of activities but the ones I enjoy most are Jeopardy, Euchre and Word Games. Although my eyesight is bad, they have made accommodations so that I could take part in art and crafts. At first, I was very anxious to leave here but now I feel like I fit in. I have made friends with many of the other residents. I don’t know how the staff here does it. They are so kind, patient and as nice as can be to all of us that live here. I hope to stay here as long as possible.

I chose MediLodge of Tawas City for myself because it was close to where I live so I can have visitors. The department that stood out to me the most was the therapy department. They worked with me so that I can walk out of here and begin to feel normal again after my stroke. I would recommend MediLdoge of Tawas City for anyone looking for some rehab services.

I chose Medilodge of Tawas City for my dad, Dixie Caudill, for a respite stay while I spent some time downstate. I can always count on Medilodge of Tawas City to allow me to bring dad in when I need to. Ida, Admissions & Marketing Director works very well with myself and our hospice agency. I can let them know a few days ahead of time that I would like to bring dad there, Medildoge is right on it willing to do whatever it takes to get him in. I can always count on Medilodge of Tawas City to take care of my dad, you all do good work. I know my dad is safe while I’m gone. I will always use Medilodge of Tawas City for our respite stays.

You know, it's a very good feeling when both times I have been to your center I came in by ambulance and I can walk out of here. I trust the staff here and your therapy department is truly amazing. I will come back if I ever need therapy again and will tell others what a great center MediLodge of Tawas City is.

I want to thank you for the wonderful care you are taking of my mother, Melinda Taylor, who is a resident at your facility. I am far away in Florida and have worried about her in the past, but now that she is with you I am relieved. She seems very happy and that makes me smile. I chose MediLodge of Tawas City after having hip surgery. I know Ida, the marketer, who comes to the Hale Senior Center monthly to do our blood pressures. I also had a connection with Pam (therapy) since I have known her family for many years. I know they both really care. I don’t want to go home, and I would like to stay. I’ve had an overall good experience while staying here.
